Julian Fleming's Girlfriend Alyssa Boyd Sent 4-Word Message in Final Instagram Post
On Friday, May 23 former Ohio State and Penn State wide receiver Julian Fleming was involved in a freak ATV accident that left his girlfriend dead.
According to a report from People, Fleming, 24, was driving a 2024 Yamaha ATV with his girlfriend, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, in the passenger seat in Columbia Township, Pa., on Friday, May 23, when a deer jumped out into the roadway around 8:13 p.m. local time.
Boyd reportedly “sustained extensive injuries” from the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Fleming, meanwhile, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital and later released.
Authorities later located “recently deceased deer” on the scene of the crash, which officials described as “consistent with damage observed on the ATV.” Officials announced the crash remains under investigation.
Neither was wearing safety equipment at the time of the accident. Boyd, Pennsylvania native and University of Alabama student, posted a four-word message for Fleming in her final post on Instagram.

Fleming started his collegiate football career at Ohio State after being ranked one of the top recruits in the country. He eventually transferred to rival Penn State before going undrafted to the Green Bay Packers following the 2025 NFL draft.
The former high school football standout who battled numerous injuries during his collegiate career saw his Packers career come to an end before it even started after the team declined to sign him after he failed a physical with the team, according to News-Item.
