Yungblud is going through changes in the wake of Ozzy Osbourne's death.
The English singer (real name Dominic Harrison) vowed to play "Changes"—Black Sabbath's 1972 hit that Yungblud covered during Ozzy's final concert—every night for the rest of his life as tribute to the late rocker, who died on July 22 at age 76.
"I’m trying to compute the last couple days and honestly I’m absolutely f--king shattered," Yungblud wrote on Instagram July 24. "You have been my North Star for everything for as long as I can remember from when I was misunderstood as a child to the way people thought I was just a little 'too much' or 'strange' in my life and career."
The 27-year-old continued, "I promise you with all my heart I will try my best and make it my life’s journey to keep the sprit that you started and what you have taught me alive. I will give it my best shot."

Sharing a video of his "Changes" cover, Yungblud went on to say it was his "greatest honor" to perform the track in front of heavy metal legend.
"I vow to play this song every night for the rest of my life," he added. "For the prince of darkness you sure brought all the light to the world. I love you Ozzy."
Yungblud forged a close bond with Ozzy and his wife Sharon Osbourne ever since the couple appeared in the music video for his 2022 single "The Funeral." In fact, he gifted Ozzy a sterling silver cross necklace backstage during what would be the "Crazy Train" musician's last show earlier this month.
"You gave me a cross, and I wanted to return the favor," Yungblud explained to Ozzy in a video posted to Instagram July 8. "Thank you, man, for everything. It's an honor."
When Yungblud learned of Ozzy's passing, he wrote on Instagram that he was "truly heartbroken."
"The last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room," he recalled in a July 22 post. "But as it is written with legends, they seem to know the things that we don’t. I will never forget you—you will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage."
Yungblud added, "Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own. You asked me once if there was anything you could do for me and as I said then and as I will say now for all of us the music was enough."
