When asked if he was offended by it, he said, "Well, it wasn't good. Gli italiani dicono: 'brutta figura.'"

That last Italian part means, "The Italian people say: 'brutta figura."

For those wondering, "brutta figura" translates literally to "ugly figure" and is used to describe someone making a fool of themselves.
