In the recently released sneak peek clip, Bella Ramsey’s Ellie is seen mourning the death of Joel as she goes through his things in his room. In another scene, she can be seen sitting in front of a grave on which the name reads, Joel Miller.
Episode 2 of The Last of Us Season 2, titled “Through the Valley,” showcased Abby, played by actress Kathryn Dever, confronting Joel for killing her father in Season 1. She then takes revenge for her father’s murder by beating Joel to death, which is a scene almost taken directly from the video game.
