Gold Derby is serving up Big Brother 27 spoilers all summer long. Read at your own risk!

As expected (because when doesn’t this show deliver on drama?), Thursday night's live eviction episode ended in tears as Zach Cornell was sent packing after an 8-2 vote against his BFF, Vince "The Egg" Panaro. Even Head of Household Ava Pearl had her own meltdown, which was ironic considering she was the one who orchestrated the entire situation to begin with.

To be fair, Zach probably shouldn’t have been the one to go home — but he kind of brought it on himself. Whether he was too confident in the numbers on his side or trying to play hero by keeping Morgan Pope off the block, he made the baffling decision to not use his secret power or spend the $10k he won in Week 1 to secure his safety. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Even host Julie Chen Moonves bopped Zach on the side of the head for seemingly throwing his game away.

The only players in the house who voted for Zach to stay were Rachel Reilly and Will Williams — which is amusing, given that neither of them were anywhere near the inner circle of his alliance. Meanwhile, after Keanu Soto kept his dominant comp streak alive by snagging the BB Block Buster, the women Zach was most loyal to — Morgan, Lauren Domingue, and Mickey Lee — wasted no time flipping to Vince without so much as a second thought. So much for loyalty.

With that, the Week 6 HOH was officially up for grabs — so, who’s stepping into the driver’s seat next? When the live feeds returned Thursday night, it was revealed that Rachel had snagged the coveted HOH key! Floaters grab a life vest, because things are about to get interesting!
