Aaron Rodgers' Surprise Wife Announcement Leaves Fans Speechless

Aaron Rodgers left some fans speechless with his shock wedding announcement.

Rodgers revealed that he has been married for a couple of months during a June 10 news conference, although he didn't name his spouse. Speculation has centered on a woman named "Brittani."

"PAUSE, WHAT? lol," wrote a fan.

The wedding announcement shocked many fans who didn't even know Rodgers was currently dating anybody, much less that he has a wife. He has revealed fairly recently that he was dating a woman named Brittani, but it's not clear whether she is his wife or what her last name even is, according to USA Today, which reported that he was first spotted wearing the ring at the Kentucky Derby.

But now he's confirmed it.

"Yeah, it's a wedding ring," Rodgers said in a video, speaking with reporters on June 10. "It's been a couple months." He thanked a reporter who offered congratulations.

Some fans bashed Rodgers because they believe he always wants to be the center of attention. "Dude is the type of guy who would marry himself," a fan wrote.

"Aaron Rodgers married who now???" another fan wrote.

"lol bro keeping it under wraps for that long is pretty wild," a fan wrote.

Not everyone responded negatively.

But others made jokes about the wedding announcement.

"That must have been a fantastic honeymoon if he put off signing with the Steelers for it," another person wrote.
